ISD Realtors’ broker is Cynthia Brugge. She has been consulting clients and designing real estate transactions for over thirty years. She has dedicated her career to helping people gather the facts they need to review the financial implications of their decisions and then helping them execute a plan of action. Cynthia has expertise as both a real estate broker and a mortgage broker.


Mark Brugge

Mark is theĀ co-owner of ISD Realtors and a licensed agent. He has a vast knowledge of residential construction in the North Dallas area as the owner of Castlestone Custom Homes from 1998 to 2013.


Barb Davis

Barb is a RealtorĀ® and manages the transactions for ISD Realtors. She has been in the Real Estate & Mortgage Industry for the past 15 Years. Her main focus is Office Administration and keeps the office and transactions running smoothly. She prepares Listings for MLS & is intricately involved from making sure all deadlines are met in a contract to preparing marketing materials. She is also our Sr Loan Processor for Mortgage Consultants Ltd.
Barb has co-owned several businesses and understands the need for professionalism along with a human touch to the clients she serves. She functioned as the admin contact for 10 Regional Offices of the Advertising Dept of The New York Times Newspaper & Publications. With her experience & attention to detail, Barb is an excellent asset to the ISD team.

About Us

ISD Realtors is a real estate brokerage company in the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex that represents buyers and sellers of homes. We have developed a unique process to completely serve our clients with an assortment of professional services to help them make good competent decisions as efficiently as possible. Our services all under one roof include buyer and seller representation by a licensed real estate broker, mortgage counseling by a 30-year-old mortgage brokerage firm, construction and home improvement consulting offered by Castlestone Custom Homes. ISD Realtors also offers their network of title companies, attorneys, contractors and miscellaneous professionals to offer assistance with needed expertise outside of their specializations.

Our goal is to attract clients who understand the difference between selecting a professional real estate broker and merely being enticed by marketing and advertising.

We are located in Allen, Texas at the corner of Stacy Road and Angel Parkway east of Highway 75. (If you look for the Subway or the Pizza Hut in Lost Creek Village, you will find us right next door.)

We named our company ISD Realtors after the term Independent School District because we believe that over 50% of the most discriminating buyers are selecting the schools for their children first before they commit to an area to live. Three Collin County school districts touch our office address with Lovejoy ISD being East of Angel parkway, Allen ISD being south of Stacy and McKinney ISD being north of Stacy.

ISD Realtors Hosts a Website where consumers can shop by School District

One service that ISD Realtors provides to consumers is a web site where they can easily shop for homes by independent school district. We believe that families with children determine where they wish for their children to attend school before they decide where they want to purchase a home. Being able to shop by school district is essential because In Texas, children are required to attend the independent school district where they reside and pay school taxes. If parents want their children to go to a certain school, they must be sure they buy a home in that school district. The independent school district boundaries were designated many years ago and the borders do not ever change.

Though most districts are named after a city, they are not confined to any specific city and they are not always named after a city. For example, Lovejoy ISD is located east of 75 and south of Hwy 121. Four cities have homes located in the Lovejoy School District and there is not a city named Lovejoy. There homes in the city of McKinney, Fairview, Lucas, Wylie, and Allen. There are subdivisions such as Thompson Springs that are located in Lovejoy ISD and McKinney ISD and such as Seis Lagos that are located in Lovejoy ISD and Wylie ISD. Some homes are sitting on a lot that is actually divided where a portion of it falls in Lovejoy ISD and the other portion falls in McKinney ISD. The only way to be sure that the home is located in a certain school district is to check in the tax rolls and determine which ISD Taxing authority is listed for payment of taxes. Even then, one should also double check with both the school district administration building and with the tax office to be absolutely sure. Even though the information in the NTREIS may state which schools are offered to the subject property, it is still the buyer's responsibility to double check the accuracy of the information.

On our website, you can look at the Metroplex map and based on where you will be commuting, you can select the school districts that are the closest and click on the corresponding number to view the housing options in order of the price.

ISD Realtors Owners

ISD Realtors is owned by Mark and Cynthia Brugge. Cynthia is the owner licensed real estate broker and the licensed mortgage broker, 100% owner of Mortgage Consultants, Ltd. Mark is a licensed real estate agent and the home builder who owns Castlestone Custom Homes.

Mark and Cynthia live in Oakwood Estates, Fairview, TX in the Lovejoy Independent School District. They have raised three daughters in Lovejoy and have concentrated most of their effort on becoming experts in the Lovejoy market. They moved into a custom home that Mark built in 1999.

Lovejoy Community Realtors

The Brugges decided that they wanted to open a community business to give Cynthia the ability to express her passion of real estate every day with her fellow Lovejoy ISD citizens as her audience and her client. Many citizens do not realize how important a community realtor can be to their community. Cynthia and Mark have become advocates for the Lovejoy ISD real estate market. They recognize how important the success of the school district is to the value of real estate and that the district must be supported by its members. They serve as ambassadors for the school district daily as new consumers shop around to determine if Lovejoy is to be their new home. They support the Lovejoy Foundation with donations and by attending their annual Denim and Diamonds Fundraiser. They support several athletic programs by purchasing advertising and attending their games. They support the theater department by sponsoring their musicals every year and purchasing tickets for their clients so that they can experience their wonderful productions. They have also created a website that enables its visitors to shop for homes by independent school district. This means that a buyer or seller can see what homes are for sale in specific school districts throughout Collin County with just one click. They also support the School administration including our elected superintendant, Ted Moore who shoulders the responsibility of the management of the district.

ISD Realtors now specializes in other School Districts and is Looking for Agents

As their client base has grown, Mark and Cynthia have expanded their territory into neighboring school districts such as Allen ISD, McKinney ISD, Plano ISD, Melissa ISD and Prosper ISD. They are now seeking other agents who share her passion to help people relocate into specific independent school districts. Her hope is that ISD Realtors will attract specialists in each independent school district who will understand how the schools are set up in the district and which housing options are available at different price ranges.
